Active-duty military personnel receive two free checked bags on Spirit flights. Verification through ID.me is required, and bags must be added in advance online or during online check-in.

Spirit partners with Bank of America to offer two credit cards: the Free Spirit Travel Mastercard and the Free Spirit Travel More World Elite Mastercard. Both cards offer extra points on Spirit purchases, a 25% rebate on inflight food and beverages, and Zone 2 Shortcut boarding. Free Spirit rewards points do not expire as long as the credit card account is open. New cardholders receive a bonus offer and can earn an anniversary gift by meeting a spending requirement.
